This is likely the number one reason people give for not homeschooling, when they find out that you do. The truth of the matter is, very few of us would consider ourselves to be patient. Listen in as Rowan explores the topic of patience as it relates to homeschooling.

Parenting is challenging! We have so many responsibilities and expectations and hopes. We are human and, not surprisingly, so are our kids. Patience is not a natural virtue to humans, although some might find it easier than others. It’s something that can be learned, though. There are things we can do in our homeschools to reduce stress which can help, and some mindset work as well.

The not-naturally patient podcast host

Sometimes bloggers and podcasters have no idea if you’re there! Leave a comment below with a tip for being patient as you homeschool. I’d love to hear from you!

Has this content been helpful? There’s more in my book, “Enough Already! Real Help for Homeschool Burn Out, Freak Out and Zone Out, which you can get below. I’ve also curated a little “Amazon Shop” of books that have been very helpful on my journey to patience, or recommendations from friends. Being part of the Amazon Associates program helps just a little at no extra cost to you. Don’t you wish blogging and podcasting were free? I do, too. I put the link to the Audible format of Teaching from Rest. Since you’re a podcast listener, you might enjoy listening instead of reading. Click on the image and it will link you to the book.
